🔸 In the US, Epic Games sued a mixed-reality glasses company, Nreal over alleged trademark infringement of Epic’s own game engine “Unreal”, claiming that Nreal looks and sounds virtually identical to Unreal and is an intentional branding decision. Epic also alleges that the two companies are competing in the same market and the similarity could cause confusion and unfair competition.
The case is on-going.
