📰MMA fighter Corner McGregor has failed in his latest bid to register his name as a trademark in the EU, after the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) upheld objections by the Dutch firm McGregor IP B.V. citing that “there is likelihood of confusion” among the public.

The MMA fighter had attempted to register his name for the sales of clothing, footwear and sportswear, in which the Dutch firm also manufactures and sells apparel under the McGREGOR brand.
