🛡️ On 21 December 2020, the US Congress approved a bill that would classify illegal streaming as a felony offence. The Congress had approved over 2 trillion USD government spending which covers various corona relief package as well as the controversial copyright and trademark measures to protect streamers and major digital studios. The Protecting Lawful Streaming Act will apply to commercial, for-profit streaming piracy services.
