A Lebanese hijab-maker, Bokitta Offshore SAL, won a patent infringement lawsuit against an unnamed company at the Kuala Lumpur High Court. This proved Bokitta is the owner of a particular hijab design, the first time a decision was reached on an intellectual property involving an article of clothing. Bokitta is famous for its patented ready-to-wear instant hijab.
