💸 With the implementation of the 2019 Act, certain sections of the Trade Descriptions Act have been included in the 2019 Act which governs for offences pertaining trademarks. Depending on the status of the applicant, the fine for a bad faith application is penalize on a per goods/services basis namely 15k for companies, and 10k for individuals. Imprisonment of not exceeding 5 year shall also be sentenced once the responsible parties are found guilty.
