โน๏ธ Absolute grounds of refusal refers to a contravention of Section 10 of the old Act and Section 23 of the 2019 Act. These sections simply refer to distinctiveness of a trademark whereby a trademark shall not be descriptive and geographical indicative which capable to distinguish itself from other proprietors or applicants. Relative grounds of refusal simply refers to a conflict with a prior rights or prior application/registration.
