📑 On June 19, 2017, the Fujian People’s Higher Court issued an injunction ordering Tinfeilong Sporting Goods, the Chinese sports manufacturer behind “Uncle Martian” to stop using the infringed trademark and to pay RMB 2 million in damages to Under Armour. Under Armour in their claims had alleged that Uncle Martian has blatantly used its name, logo and intellectual property without their consent although Tinfeilong had previously stated that neither its logo resembles Under Armor nor it has any relation to the American sportswear and sneaker manufacturer.
