The Shanghai Third Intermediate Court has affirmed a 5-year prison sentence with a RMB 2.2 million fine towards Wu XX for the offence of selling Alpenliebe candy with a counterfeited registered trademark. The Alpenliebe candy is made by Perfetti Van Melle, an Italian-Dutch MNC who are the rightful owners of the Alpenliebe trademark.
